Acorns is the largest provider of support for life-limited children and their families in the UK. We provide respite, emergency and end of life care in our three hospices.

A dedicated community team offers further 24 hour support to families in their own homes, including practical and emotional support for parents, special help for siblings and other family members and bereavement counselling.

The patients of the hospice are children with life-limiting illnesses and with chronic diseases such as myopathy, deep congenital pathology, genetic diseases etc.

The hospice works as a home-care hospice (palliative home-care programme). There are also two beds for temporary hospitalization (programme 'hostel') and the day centre with a sensory room (programme 'day centre'). Help for families is provided free of charge, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
