Grief Counselling Course with a focus on children and grief. Helping children deal with and learn through experiences of grief, loss and illness.

In association with Paradise Kids, this experiential course explores basic counselling skills and how to help others, especially children, make creative choices in dealing wih grief, loss and illness. It also helps participants become more aware of the importance of their own grieving. The course will benefit social workers, teachers, chaplains, nurses, counsellors, health professionals and others working with children or who would like to work as volunteers at Paradise Kids.

The course will be conducted over:

Five Saturdays – 4, 11, 18, 25 February and 3 March 2012 from 9:30am to 4:30pm

Two Sundays – 11 and 18 March 2012 from 9.30am to 4.30pm
