Palliative Care Study Day

You will be able to:
- Discuss how to ensure children voices are heard in palliative care
- Explore planning for out of hospital extubation
- Provide an overview of advances in palliative pain management
- Discuss recognition and management of palliative care emergencies
- Discuss bereavement care – before, during and after the death of a child.
Who Should Attend?
This study day is aimed multi-disciplinary professionals based at the following:
- within GOSH
- local hospitals
- children’s community nursing teams
- hospices
- GP’s and staff at GP practices who regularly contribute to the management of care of children with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.
