The Canadian Network of Palliative Care for Children (CNPCC) has developed out of the Pediatric Hospice Palliative Care Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA). It remains under the umbrella of the CHPCA, and reports to its Executive Director as described in the CNPCC Terms of Reference.

The main focuses of CCN are to create awareness against childhood cancer in remote parts of Nepal, to maintain liaison between childhood cancer hospitals and work as facilitator for various prevention and treatment program and also provide a platform for the people, health workers to work in these areas. We have already started executing few activities in different areas not only in Kathmandu but also in various remote parts of the countries.

CanKidsÂ…KidsCan is a support group empowering children faced with cancer and their families. Established in 2004, CanKids provides a wide range of support services (medical, financial, education, and psychosocial) to children in all stages of treatment. Worldwide, 70-90% of childhood cancer is curable; Cankids strives to promote similar rates of success in India.

CanSupport is a Delhi-based organisation, which provides people with advanced cancer and their families with appropriate physical, emotional, social and spiritual support. 80% of patients diagnosed with cancer in India (approx 800,000 annually) come when their cancers are no longer curable and when they need palliative care.
We believe that every cancer patient deserves appropriate, high quality care and support, and has the right to live with dignity.
