Catholic Health Service (CHS) is a non-profit making organisation that run health serives for the Roman Catholic Church in Namibia. It is the second biggest health service provider in Namibia following the Government's Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS). It serves mainly the rural population. It is subsidised by the government through MoHSS. It has an HIV/AIDS programme which is run parrallel to the mainstream (selective primary health care approach) funded by the President's Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through United State AID for Development (USAID).
