George Mark Children's House is the first pediatric palliative care facility providing respite, transitional and end-of-life care to children aged newborn to 21 and their families. Opened March 2004.

The Hospice offers a service of Palliative Care. We are a member of H.P.C.A with a 5 star rating and have full accreditation with COHSASA. We are an Accredited Training Site. A Day Care Centre, with 80 children A Multipurpose Centre manages 4 programs for OVC’s, We have 41 staff.

Grahamstown Hospice and our satellite hospice in Port Alfred, Sunshine Coast Hospice, provides free home based palliative care for those living with life threatening illnesses. Our orphans and vulnerable childrens programme includes home based palliative care for paediatric patients with life limiting illnesses, children of patients and recently bereaved children. We have a partnership with our local hospital which has a ten bed adult and 4 bed paediatric palliative care ward.
