This is an oncology pediatric hospital in Guatemala city. We treat all pediatric cancer since 2000. In August 2005 the program in Pediatric Palliative Care started. The palliative program attends to children from the begining of the disease by counselling, facilitating advance directions especially in those whose prognosis changes from curative to palliative because of a bad response to treatment. During this phase we have protocols which help them to have a good quality of life until death.  We also follow a short time of grief. We are a multidisciplinary team.
