After much consideration it was decided that this seminal conference would take place on the Indian continent. This will also be the very first conference dedicated to children's palliative care in India. It is hoped that holding the conference there will strengthen and help the development of the wonderful work that has been happening there since 2010, as part of the DFID two country project. 

The chosen conference theme is Transforming children's palliative care ... from ideas to action. A call for abstracts around this theme will be sent out to all members in March 2013.
