18.04.13 Paediatric Nurse

At Sarah Fox we are establishing a new model Intermediary Care Facility 

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a service which is primarily nurse-led and intentionally involves families in offering the best care for sick and vulnerable children. Our service will expand to include 10 beds, equipped and staffed to manage level three paediatric palliative care and support.

• Are you a paediatric nurse with good communication skills and a heart for children and their families?
• Are you ready to consider shifting your practice up a notch to trial a nurse –led care model with us on a term contract basis?

Post Requirements:

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council  (SANC) as a general nurse and paediatric nurse
• Clinical experience of working with sick and recovering children
• Some experience of working with children with life limiting illnesses
• You will require: A police clearance certificate and at least two referees
